Lighting is a very important aspect of professional photography, not only can it affect the quality of the image but also aspects such as the mood and tone.
This course offers you the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of studio lighting, building your confidence in your ability to work with professional studio lighting equipment. Over four weeks you will work with a variety of equipment, experimenting with many techniques used within portrait photography and still life photography.
Through a series of lectures, practical demonstrations and assignments, you will be given the opportunity to get thoroughly immersed in the processes of studio photography and lighting. By the end of the course you will have the ability to control exposure, use lighting accessories and techniques creatively and construct various light set ups. You will have also created a series of professional standard studio portraits.
