COURSE OVERVIEW

This beginner level course is suitable for those who want to start sewing and want to learn how to operate an industrial sewing machine and over locker within Health & Safety Guidelines. This course is designed to give you basic knowledge and information starting from oiling and threading industrial and domestic sewing machines and over lockers and different basic stitch types. How to change foot, needle and stitch length of machine to get different finishes of seam.



You will learn:



- How to thread Sewing Machine



- Operating Sewing Machine with Health & Safety



- Different Seam types



- How to use an overlocker



ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This programme is designed to be accessible to a wide range of learners, from those wishing to explore a creative subject to those already working on a freelance basis, looking to up skill.



This course requires you to be a minimum of 18 years old, be eligible to study in the UK and have a good level of English.
