The course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of property investment as part of a multi-asset portfolio, to foster awareness of other investment classes and the regulatory framework in which they operate, and to develop skills in analysing risk and return in property investment. It is fully recognised by the Investment Property Forum, the association of the major players in the property investment market. The course is divided into three parts, linked to six broad themes: investment, property portfolios, finance, property analysis, economics and international issues. The course is assessed by coursework, examinations and a project. Students successfully completing only the coursework assignments and examinations will be awarded the Postgraduate Diploma.
