OVERVIEW

Our MBA course merges retail and management, enabling you to engage with more than one discipline, therefore meeting the industry requirements of the luxury sector.

For the duration of the programme you will study different aspects of marketing management, covering subjects such as fashion design systems, branding and communication techniques, and intellectual property law. In addition to the strategic aspects, the MBA allows you to gain insight into the effects of cultural, social and historical systems characterised by different trends which are then analysed and interpreted.

Guest speakers, trade visits and exhibition trips will enhance your learning as you will develop a rounded knowledge and understanding of how the industry works.

Our MBA programme was created with aspiring individuals looking to begin their career in the fashion and luxury goods industry in mind. The course is also well suited to those who have already acquired some industry experience, as it can help with progression into supervisory and management roles within organisations. Once you have successfully completed the programme, you will be equipped with the knowledge to pursue a career in whichever luxury or fashion path you choose to follow.

The first semester consists of theoretical modules, the second provides you with the practical approach of the concepts learnt in the previous semester. During semester one, you are advised on choosing a professional research subject on a luxury or fashion area of your choice, or a consultancy project for a precise luxury sector or country. Tutored support continues into semester two, with the written project submitted one month after classes have finished, and the oral presentation one month later. The final semester allows you to gain four to six months of work experience in a related industry.

Mature candidates with a good first degree and at least one year&rsquo,s work experience within a management, luxury or fashion industry role.
