Our HND in Fashion and Textiles provides opportunities for aspiring designers to earn a nationally-recognised qualification while developing fashion skills. This two-year programme explores emerging trends and the fashion industry in general, while developing essential garment and accessory design skills. It also helps you gain a cultural understanding of the fashion retail environment. You will learn about specific market sectors and manufacturing processes, as well as the demands these have on the industry.
Minimum age: 18
Minimum qualifications: UK applicants: four GCSEs (C or above) and two A levels (D or above) any NARIC recognised equivalence
IELTS 5.5 (min. 5.0 in each component)
PTE 51 (min. 51 in each component)
Mature students: (over 21) are accepted, subject to professional references, significant work experience and a strong personal statement
This qualification develops the skills, knowledge and experience required for progression directly into employment in the fashion and textile industry. Suitable roles include fashion designer, stylist and fashion retail manager.
