Styles and trends are known for fading out, only to make a triumphant comeback several decades later. The role of the fashion forecaster is to detect those trends which may look to make another appearance, as well as any new trends which may be about to emerge.
This course concentrates on fashion forecasting, teaching you about the cyclical nature of the fashion industry. You will discover where and why fashion forecasting is used by companies, who conducts it and how forecasting can influence other areas of the fashion industry.
You will also be taught the basics of fashion styling, including how to create a complete look according to a selected theme. Editorial shoots, look-book shoots and personal styling will all be explored over the 10 week duration of the course.
